LEADERSHIP RELATIONSHIP MODEL AND WORK STRESS ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE IN CARGO DELIVERY SERVICE COMPANY IN BATAM CITY

Abstract


Cargo shipping service company is one of the companies engaged in services to meet the needs of consumers in the process of shipping goods, whether done by individuals or agencies to support various companies in completing their performance, especially goods or manufacturing companies. Whether or not the company's performance can be measured by the overall performance of employees. The higher the enthusiasm of employees in working and completing their work will further increase the potential of a company to achieve its goals. This study aims to examine the extent to which the role of leadership, and work stress is able to improve the performance of employees of Cargo Shipping Services in Batam City, using quantitative research methods with data analysis techniques with multiple linear regression analysis and the number of samples used by 224 respondents. The results of this study are; Leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job stress has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Leadership and work stress simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of Cargo Shipping Services in Batam City.
